THE ATARI GROUP
Atari is a global interactive entertainment production company
Atari is an interactive entertainment group and an iconic brand in the video game industry. The Group is globally recognized for its multi-platform interactive entertainment products and licensed products. Atari owns and/or manages a portfolio of more than 400 games and franchises, including world-renowned brands such as Pong®, Breakout®, Asteroids®, Missile Command®, Centipede®, and RollerCoaster Tycoon®.
Atari’s strategy is to develop, directly or through licensing agreements, video games, hardware, consumer products, and media content at the intersection of interactive entertainment, the digital world, and Web3 to generate revenue by monetizing its intellectual property portfolio. Atari does this both directly, with revenue generated from the marketing of video games on the Atari VCS, PC, consoles, mobile platforms, or multimedia, and indirectly, with licensing agreements granted to third parties who are then responsible for manufacturing products in exchange for royalties paid to Atari under multi-year contracts. The Group’s organization is structured around four main business lines: Games, Hardware, Licensing, and Atari X (formerly Web3).
Atari shares are listed on the Euronext Growth Paris stock market (ISIN Code FR0010478248, Ticker ALATA).
